AI that manages your Google Ads
AdLoop is a cloud-based tool that provides an alternative interface for managing Google Ads, Google Analytics, and Google Tag Manager through conversational AI platforms such as Claude, Cursor, and ChatGPT. Instead of navigating the standard Google Ads interface, users interact with their advertising data by typing natural language requests. The tool is designed for advertising agencies and advertisers in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) and is built with a focus on compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The core of AdLoop is open source and can be self-hosted, while the cloud version offers a more convenient setup. The tool connects to Google Ads accounts and Google Analytics 4 (GA4) properties through OAuth authentication, requiring no Google Cloud project setup or token management. Users then link their preferred AI assistant by inserting a URL or API key. AdLoop enables a range of actions through chat: querying campaign performance, comparing ad costs against real GA4 conversions, creating campaigns and ad groups, writing ad copy and keywords, and making bulk changes to multiple ads or budgets simultaneously. It also includes a three-way tracking audit that checks website code, Google Tag Manager containers, and GA4 to identify discrepancies in conversion tracking and tag firing. Typical workflows involve asking questions about campaign performance, such as how ads performed in a given week or how costs compare across different campaigns. The AI can suggest budget reallocations or optimizations, but all changes are presented as previews with dry-run mode enabled by default. Users must explicitly approve any modifications, and budget limits are enforced to prevent unintended spending. The tool also supports manager accounts (MCC), allowing users to address multiple client accounts from a single chat session. Technical requirements include an existing subscription to Claude, Cursor, or ChatGPT (developer mode) or access to Gemini CLI. Data is processed on European infrastructure, with hosting in Germany and Frankfurt. Access credentials are encrypted on German infrastructure, and campaign data is routed through the system without being stored. An order data processing agreement (AVV) under Article 28 GDPR is included and can be signed electronically. Every write action is logged in a change protocol for transparency with clients. Users can configure tool sets per API key to limit which tool groups the AI can access, with security tools always active.
