Eleganote is a digital note taking application designed to replicate the experience of writing on paper while providing a suite of multimedia tools. The software integrates handwriting, rich text, and shape drawing within a single workspace. Users can import PDF documents for annotation and record audio directly within their notes to capture additional context. By default, the application stores all data locally on the user's device to ensure privacy, though cloud synchronization is available through an optional subscription service. The application serves a variety of use cases for students, professionals, and visual thinkers who require a centralized location for organizing information. Typical workflows include sketching diagrams, taking lecture notes, and managing document markups. The interface allows for the creation of unlimited documents and provides export options for sharing work externally. Users can manage their accounts across multiple platforms, ensuring that their notes and premium status remain consistent regardless of the hardware being used. Currently, Eleganote is available for Android devices via Google Play, including support for both smartphones and tablets. Development is underway for iOS and desktop versions, with a waitlist available for early access notifications. While the core features are free to use, the Premium tier offers cloud backup and advanced document management for a yearly fee. Users can authenticate using a standard email or a Google account to sync their data and subscription status across their various devices.
