Habits, numbers & time on one grid!
Habit Pocket is a habit tracking application designed to log not only whether a habit was completed but also the associated numerical values and times of day. Unlike simple checkmark trackers, it records data such as wake-up times, hours of sleep, energy scores, workout durations, and mood ratings in a single grid view. This structure allows users to observe patterns and correlations between different habits and outcomes like sleep quality, energy levels, and mood. The app is available for free on iOS and through a web interface. The application supports three primary habit entry types: yes/no checkmarks, numeric entries with optional units and targets (for example, steps, glasses of water, or weight), and time-of-day entries (such as wake time or wind-down time). Users can organize habits into sections labeled Health, Sleep, and Growth, and can group, drag to reorder, or exclude specific weekdays. Streaks are maintained even when a habit is skipped, with predefined skip reasons such as camping, illness, travel, or rest days. Each habit includes one auto-generated chart and retains the last 30 days of statistics. Typical use cases include identifying why energy drops in the afternoon by comparing bedtime and sleep duration against afternoon energy scores, or determining which activities (workouts, daylight, social interaction, caffeine) correlate with improved mood. Users can also track deep work hours and phone pickups to see where time is spent, or monitor progress in strength training alongside sleep and soreness data. The workflow involves signing up for free via Google, Apple, or email, creating up to five habits (with no credit card required), and then logging entries by tapping a cell and entering a number or time. The grid automatically builds streaks and displays today’s data at the top with a scrollable history below.
