A free foot/baseball lineup builder
LineupDesk is a set of free, browser-based tools designed for creating sports lineups, formations, and tactics boards. Its primary function is to provide coaches and content creators with simple utilities for organizing a team before game day or generating clean graphics for social media. The suite currently consists of three live tools: a football lineup builder, a baseball lineup maker, and a soccer tactics board. All tools operate entirely within a web browser, requiring no software installation, account creation, or user data uploads. The football lineup builder allows users to drag players onto a realistic pitch, select from preset formations such as 4-3-3, 4-4-2, and 3-5-2, or type a custom formation. Users can position two shapes side by side to compare them, name the squad, and export the final board as a PDF or PNG file. It also includes features for printing a team sheet directly from the board and generating a shareable link that recreates the same view. The baseball lineup maker produces a batting order card that includes jersey numbers and fielding positions, with options to print a PDF for the dugout or share via link. The soccer tactics board functions as a chalkboard for set pieces and drills, allowing users to illustrate team runs, passes, and dribbles on a full pitch or the attacking third, with no fixed limit on the number of players to accommodate small-sided games. The tools are intended for grassroots coaches who need to organize lineups and formations before matches, as well as creators who require a clean lineup graphic for online content. Workflows generally involve arranging players on the virtual pitch, configuring the desired formation, and then outputting the result through printing, image export, or link sharing. The software does not include watermarks on exported content. Additionally, the site offers blank, printable PDF templates for baseball lineup cards and soccer lineup sheets for users who prefer to write information manually. Since the tools run client-side, all squad data and created boards remain on the user's own machine unless an image is exported and shared by the user.
