Find best common time for a meeting
Meetingrid is a web-based scheduling tool designed to help groups find a common time for meetings without requiring account creation or sign-ups. Users create a meeting grid by selecting a title and a scheduling mode, such as finding the best time of day, day of the week, or day of the month. The grid is then shared via an invitation code, and anyone with the code can join and mark their availability. The tool highlights overlapping times instantly using color-coded visual indicators, making it easy to identify the most suitable slots. The application includes several features to streamline the scheduling process. A visual availability grid displays everyone’s responses at once, with the best times emphasized through color coding. Responses are updated in real time over WebSockets, so the entire group sees votes as they are submitted without needing to refresh the page. Users can also describe their availability in plain English, and the tool will use AI to fill in the corresponding grid cells. No sign-up or password is required; the system remembers a user’s identity automatically for the duration of the session. Meetingrid is designed for group coordination scenarios such as planning social events, team meetings, or project check-ins. The workflow typically involves creating a poll, sharing the invitation code, and allowing participants to indicate their availability from any device, including phones, tablets, and desktops. The tool is fully responsive and works across platforms. It is currently under active development, with additional modes and features planned for future releases.
