Focus app built for ADHD brains
Sipa focus is a cognitive operating system designed for neurodivergent individuals, including those with ADHD, BPD, and ASD. The tool provides a structured digital environment that replaces traditional executive function with scaffolding designed to hold a user's current mental state, not just their tasks. It was developed from the lived experience of its founder, incorporating insights from over twenty years of personal challenges with aphantasia, dissociation, and a high speed cognitive processing style. The system is built around four core modules: a Structure Engine for task management, an Emotional Radar for tracking emotional landscapes, an ADHD Focus System for attention management, and a BPD Crisis Protocol for grounding and safety. Key features include a breathing circle for regulation, a text dump function for unstructured input, and a focus system that offers body doubling mode and non punitive reminders. The Emotional Radar allows users to visualize patterns in their emotional state over time. The BPD Crisis Protocol is inspired by DBT techniques and provides step by step grounding exercises with access to a safe person. The system processes natural language task input, decomposes video content into micro actions, and uses a LangGraph goal loop to deliver one action at a time. This loop is fine tuned on agent traces for autonomous goal management in ADHD, BPD, and ASD contexts. Typical use cases involve managing daily tasks, regulating emotional states, and navigating crisis moments. A user might begin by dumping unstructured thoughts, then use the Structure Engine to organize them into actionable steps. The Emotional Radar helps identify patterns between mood and productivity, while the Focus System supports sustained attention through timed sessions. In moments of distress, the Crisis Protocol provides immediate grounding steps. The system is built on trusted infrastructure and is accessible via the web at focus.sipa os.org. It includes integrated support resources, such as emotional support lines and a worldwide helpline finder.
