Chilview SnapMatrix is a screenshot and screen recording app for Mac from Chilview LLC. Screenshots are free forever: capture a display, a region, a window, or a full page from the floating capture bar, with presets, timed delays (3/5/10s), and hotkeys. A yearly plan unlocks the annotation editor (arrows, rectangles, ellipses, text, drawing, highlighter, numbered steps, redact/blur, callouts, crop, and layers), screen recording with microphone and webcam bubble, a review panel with trim and zoom, custom resolution editing for images and recordings, and export to PNG, JPG, and WebP. The on-Mac Library keeps captures searchable by title and project, with tags, collections, and guides with MLA, APA, and Chicago citations. Privacy first: captures stay on your Mac — Chilview hosts nothing. Organizations can optionally back up to their own HTTPS API or Supabase. Plans: Individual $34.99/year; Organization $37.99/user/year for 1-100 users, $34.99/user/year at 101+. Affiliate program: earn $5 for every paid SnapMatrix user you refer — $5 per paid seat for organizations, including seat expansions (renewals do not pay again). Join at getchilview.com/affiliate.
