Paper-only forex research terminal
Forex Mercatus Codex is a market-research and education terminal built by Katlego Mokoto (Mens Mercatus), designed so it cannot be mistaken for a brokerage. It is paper only: no real money, no broker credentials, no order route, and not financial advice. What's inside: - God Mode (in the browser): a gold-first (XAUUSD) research terminal with multi-timeframe charts, a strategy lab with walk-forward testing and Monte Carlo, on-device machine learning that reports its out-of-sample score, risk tools, a pattern scanner, a SAST session clock, a journal and a bar-replay paper simulator, on historical data - Hosted paper desk: a Python and Highcharts desk with Chart, Multi, Whales, Flow and Bot views, and one session-scoped paper bot per browser tab How it's built: a Python desk on an Ubuntu VPS. Public feeds (e.g. Yahoo, Kraken, Binance) are fused, with labelled synthetic tape when a feed is down. Sessions are capped with an idle timeout, and a public health JSON reports paper_only, data sources and the session cap. Limits: quotes are delayed public snapshots, and God Mode uses historical data, not live quotes. Model outputs are probabilities with measured error, never guarantees. Case study: mensmercatus.online/case-studies/forex/ Mens Mercatus builds AI agents and LLM automation for SMEs up to enterprise, for clients globally, with a human yes before any send, payment or other irreversible step.
