The tool also supports staff roles, checks player registrations against a league list, and flags suspensions and card warnings when choosing a team. For match preparation, staff can keep opponent records with past meetings, likely line-ups, scouting notes, and a game plan. These details can be combined with the team on a branded PDF battle card or team sheet. Staff can log results, line-ups, goals, substitutions, cards, minutes played, and staff ratings; GafferIQ uses these records to display match and season statistics, including goals by time period and training attendance. Missing records are shown as gaps rather than as zero values. GafferIQ is available to pilot clubs without a payment card or contract during the pilot season. Setup involves receiving an access code, adding a club, and importing or entering the squad, which the site says takes about 15 minutes. Club data is visible only to the club’s staff.
