Job drafts you review, then send
JobNet is a career pipeline built by Katlego Mokoto (Mens Mercatus). It turns public job posts into a ranked shortlist and tailored application drafts. It is drafts-only: it never applies and never sends mail on its own. How it works: - Shortlist: a scheduled daily scrape of public listings, published as a read-only shortlist - Match: self-hosted MiniLM sentence embeddings compare each requirement with real CV evidence; a BM25 keyword mode takes over instantly when the model isn't loaded. One role per company - AI Hawk draft: a cover note and CV synopsis for one role, built only from facts on the published CV and case studies. Anything it can't back up stays a [placeholder] or is listed as a gap - Review: a person checks every claim and placeholder - Handoff: copy, download or forward it yourself In the real pipeline every email lands in Gmail as a draft. Katlego reviews it and presses Send himself. Sending is outside the agent's permissions. The public page is a read-only demo: AI Hawk runs from templates on your device, with no LLM call, and nothing stored or sent. Limits: a personal job-search system, not a multi-tenant product. Case study: mensmercatus.online/case-studies/jobnet/ Mens Mercatus builds AI agents and LLM automation for SMEs up to enterprise, for clients globally, with a human yes before any send, payment or other irreversible step.
