LevyDay is a web based tool that tracks property tax deadlines across all US counties. It lists due dates, penalty dates, assessment appeal windows, homestead exemption filing deadlines, and early payment discount periods for 3,130 of the 3,143 counties in the United States. Each date is accompanied by a link to the official county or state webpage from which it was sourced. The tool is updated regularly, with source pages reloaded each month, and highlights any changes to dates or penalties by showing the previous and current values. LevyDay offers a range of features to help property owners manage multiple tax obligations. Users can sign in with an email address, add properties by street address, and receive free email alerts at 30, 7, and 1 day before each deadline, or opt for a weekly or monthly digest. Settings can be customized per property. The tool also provides a live calendar feed (in .ics format) that can be imported into Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, or Outlook, as well as a CSV export for accountants. No password or payment information is required to create an account. Typical use cases include monitoring tax deadlines for primary residences, second homes, or investment properties located in multiple counties. A user can add any number of counties and receive a consolidated list of upcoming dates, ordered by next deadline. The tool also includes guides organized by tax type and by state, and allows side by side comparison of rules across states. LevyDay is not intended as tax or legal advice; users are reminded to consult their own tax bills for official due dates, especially when a date falls on a weekend or holiday.
