Private clipboard history for Mac
Minimal Paste is a clipboard manager for macOS that stores clipboard history locally on the user's Mac. It provides quick access to copied text, images, links, files, and colors, and it can also index user-selected folders, including subfolders, so files can be found and pasted without leaving the current application. The app does not use an account, iCloud, or other devices, and its history remains on the machine. Password manager entries are ignored. The app opens a shelf through the Shift Command V shortcut. The shelf can be placed at the bottom, left, or right edge of the screen or used as a floating window. Users can search clipboard history and folders as they type, move through results with arrow keys, and press Return to paste into the application they were using. Frequently used clips can be pinned, and pinned items are not removed by retention settings. Clips can also be grouped by name and color, selected in bulk and pasted together, and customized in appearance. Minimal Paste requires macOS 14 or later. It is offered as a one-time purchase of $9.99 and includes use on three Macs and free updates. The app is designed for workflows that require repeated access to recent clipboard items, saved text and images, and files from common folders while keeping clipboard data private and local to the Mac.
