New puzzle ideas, tried here first
PuzzleNext is a web-based collection of puzzles that focuses on relaxation and logical thinking. The service is free to use and does not require an account, password, or email address. All puzzles run directly in the browser on iPads, phones, and computers without the need for installation. The puzzles are untimed and emphasize a calm approach to problem solving. The collection currently features four puzzle types: Untangle, which requires players to rearrange nodes so that no constellation lines cross; Magic Sort, which involves pouring colored potions between vials until each vial contains a single color, with difficulty scaling from two colors to eight; Fruit Merge, a matching game where players drop fruit into a jar to merge matching pairs into larger fruit; and Minesweeper, which offers logic based gameplay with Beginner, Intermediate, and Expert levels and features boards designed to be solvable through logic without requiring guesses. Each puzzle includes an undo function and has no move limits. Progress and best results for each puzzle are stored locally in the user's browser, enabling players to close the tab and resume later. PuzzleNext functions as a testing ground for new puzzle ideas, with user feedback directed to the development team. The interface is designed with large, clear boards to fit various screen sizes, making it suitable for quick sessions or extended play.
