You campus your people
Unispheres is a free campus network designed to connect members of a college community, including students, faculty, alumni, and clubs. It functions as an open platform where users can share projects, ideas, and questions, and discover work already happening within their campus. The service does not require a college email or affiliation to join. Users can create an account with any email address and optionally add a college and interests later. The platform supports a three-step workflow. Users first create an account, then post a project, idea, or question. UniSphere displays related work from the campus and provides explanations for why each match was suggested. In the final step, users can build together by recruiting teammates for open roles, asking seniors for advice, and finding events and opportunities. Additional features include following clubs and interest groups, reading official announcements distinguished from member posts, and RSVPing to events. Senior and alumni mentoring is opt-in, and contact details are not automatically revealed. UniSphere incorporates transparency and privacy controls. AI-generated suggestions are labeled as such and link to the actual posts or projects that prompted them. Writing help and improvements are presented as proposals that require user approval before anything is posted or changed. Private posts, messages, and verification documents are not sent to AI providers, and the core platform functions without AI. College directories are explicitly labeled as community-added, so connecting a college is presented as a choice rather than a verified claim.
