Smarter Healthcare Operations
VNSIS HealthOS is a health facility management system that integrates front desk operations, doctor consultations, wards, laboratory, pharmacy, cashier, and HMO claims into a single platform. The system is designed to reduce data redundancy and revenue leakage by connecting departments and tracking charges from the point of order through to payment. It maintains functionality during internet outages by operating on a local network and syncing to the cloud when the connection is restored. The typical workflow begins with patient registration, where information is entered once and becomes accessible across all departments. When a doctor orders a lab test, scan, drug, or procedure, a charge is generated automatically. Laboratory, pharmacy, and billing departments access the shared record to fulfill orders and process payments. The system includes modules for registration, consultation, lab results, dispensing, billing, ward rounds, SMS and WhatsApp reminders, video consults, and an owner remote view. A daily summary is generated each night, detailing patients seen, money received, and items requiring attention. The software runs on existing hardware, including computers, tablets, and phones. Each device carries the full system, allowing work to continue on battery power during a power outage. A local hub keeps devices in sync without an internet connection. Facility-specific data such as prices, HMOs, wards, staff, and lab ranges are loaded before the system goes live. Interfaces are role-specific, showing only the relevant functions for front desk, nurses, doctors, lab, pharmacy, and cashiers. The software is offered in Clinic, Hospital, and Enterprise editions. Support is provided via WhatsApp, phone, and on site, and is available Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm WAT. Pricing is provided on a call and includes setup, training, and support. The system was developed in Nigeria for hospitals and clinics.
