Vocabulary practice in 5 languages
Voca Fun is a browser-based vocabulary learning application that supports five languages: English, Chinese, Korean, French, and Portuguese. The tool provides short spelling, meaning, and listening activities designed for learners who want to study new words in brief daily sessions. The application requires no account creation to begin and is available at no cost in a web browser with JavaScript enabled. The application offers study packs organized by proficiency levels, including word lists aligned with HSK, TOPIK, DELF, TOEIC, and IELTS frameworks, as well as topic-based packs covering areas such as travel, business, and coding. Each pack contains approximately 20 words. The tool includes multiple activity formats: spelling words, matching meanings, listening and selecting, finding pairs, and timed exercises. A world map with 50 lands unlocks progressively as learners earn XP through completed activities. A daily streak feature encourages consistent practice, and social functions allow users to add friends, practise together in live rooms, or join a class using a code. Voca Fun also supports custom word banks, enabling learners to create their own vocabulary lists and practise them using the same activity formats. Content volume varies by language: the Chinese collection contains 12,222 words across 16 study packs, Korean offers 12,930 words in 13 packs, French provides 10,051 words in 14 packs, and Portuguese includes 7,220 words in 10 packs. The interface is available in multiple languages, including English, Vietnamese, Japanese, Chinese, Korean, German, Portuguese, Spanish, French, and Russian.
