mxverify is a free backlink checker that estimates the monetary value of a single followed link from any website. It calculates a BV score, or backlink value, which represents what one new followed link from a given site is worth in terms of ranking benefit, expressed in dollars. The valuation model uses a site strength score, derived from the site's link authority rating and organic traffic, to set a ceiling, then adjusts for link type and relevance. Publishers and marketers can compare the BV score against a seller's quoted price to assess whether a link purchase is reasonable. The tool is also useful for understanding a site's profile, such as its share of nofollow links or its connection to link networks. Reports are generated automatically, and first-time checks are usually completed within a day or two once the site has an authority rating. Link counts come from a third-party backlink index read monthly, and they are aggregate counts rather than a complete list of linking pages. Sites without an Ahrefs authority rating are valued at zero until one is assigned. The audit figures shown on the site reflect links chosen by bklink customers, not a random sample of a site's links. The service does not sell links, and no site pays to be listed or valued.
