Practise until the real interview
Practise until the real interview
Cue App is a Windows application designed to assist with interview preparation and meeting productivity through artificial intelligence. Currently in beta for Windows 10 and 11, the app offers two primary functions: mock interview practice with an AI interviewer, and a meeting assistant that transcribes live calls from platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, Slack huddles, and browser based calls. The mock interview feature scores each answer and provides feedback, using questions derived from the user’s resume and job description, along with example answers. The meeting assistant transcribes audio from the computer’s speakers and microphone, automatically generating status updates drawn from projects the user has logged within the app. Typical use cases include practicing for real job interviews until the user feels confident, and capturing meeting transcripts to draft status updates without manual note taking. The workflow involves downloading and installing the application, signing in with a Google account or email, and starting a free 15 minute trial that requires no credit card. During live sessions, call time is tracked and automatically stops when the session ends; practice time is separate. Cue App is version 1.0.3, occupies approximately 101 MB, and requires Windows 10 or 11. The app emphasizes data privacy: call audio passes through for transcription but is not saved on the company’s servers. Session history, resumes, and job descriptions are stored locally on the user’s computer. Sign in is protected by Windows authentication, and only one live session can run per account at a time. Every plan includes transcription and answer features. The app was last updated on 18 October 2026.
