React/shadcn AI agent components
Cuelark UI is an open-source library of React components built on top of the shadcn/ui design system. Its primary function is to provide developers with a collection of UI components that can be installed directly into an existing project using the shadcn CLI. The library includes components designed for AI agent interfaces, such as agent chat, reasoning displays, and approval flows, alongside general-purpose primitives and animated effects. All components are delivered as source code files, allowing full customization without runtime dependencies or vendor lock-in. The library offers over 107 components, including buttons, spinners, tabs, command palettes, toggles, number tickers, and more. Animated effects are powered by GSAP and include text reveals, odometers, orbiting elements, beams, confetti, and layout transitions. Each animation is controlled by a single CSS variable for amplitude, and the library respects the user’s reduced-motion preference at the system level. Additional features include print-registration crop marks that frame surfaces, a theming system with tokens for base gray, accent color, radius, density, marks, and motion amplitude, and support for both light and dark modes from a single configuration block. Typical use cases range from building data dashboards and landing pages to creating interactive AI agent interfaces. The workflow involves selecting components from the library, installing them via the shadcn CLI command, and then modifying the source files as needed. Components are built on Radix primitives, ensuring keyboard accessibility, visible focus indicators, and semantic HTML. The library is designed to integrate with existing stacks, and developers can adjust animation intensity or disable motion entirely to suit different contexts.
