Mirrorfox is a desktop application for iPhone screen mirroring and quality assurance testing. It runs on Windows 10/11, macOS 13+, and Linux, and requires neither a user account nor a companion app installed on the phone. Users connect an iPhone by cable and tapping Trust, or by joining the same Wi-Fi network and selecting Screen Mirroring. The application supports 4K resolution at 60 frames per second with low latency. The app is positioned as a QA workbench for iOS developers and testers. It supports sideloading of .IPA files by dragging and dropping them onto the mirrored screen, with automatic plist parsing and device UDID verification. No Xcode, Mac computer, or third-party sideloading tool is required, and installation completes in roughly three seconds. Mirrorfox can also output the live iPhone screen as a native virtual webcam input on Windows and macOS, allowing app demos and QA reviews inside Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, and OBS Studio without additional virtual cable software or plugins. For design verification, Mirrorfox includes an 8x pixel loupe that samples exact HEX, RGB, and Display P3 color values directly from the live stream, plus draggable on-screen rulers for measuring component dimensions, padding, margins, and gaps. A live font inspector surfaces the active font family, weight, size, and line-height to help identify rendering anomalies or unwanted fallback fonts. The Figma overlay feature provides split and onion skin diffing modes to compare design mockups against the running app, and multi-window staging lets users view several iPhone screens simultaneously. A step-by-step recording mode documents bug reproduction flows using keyboard shortcuts, with commands to start, advance between steps, and finish. The application automatically stitches the captured video and exports a ready-to-paste Jira Markdown report. Screen annotations are baked directly into the video output. Mirrorfox supports screen mirroring over USB cable or Wi-Fi and is available for Windows 10/11, macOS 13+, and Linux.
