Moodis is a desktop application for collecting and arranging reference images on an infinite canvas. It is free for personal, non-commercial use on Windows and Linux, with a Mac version in development. The app requires no account for local use, and all data remains on the user's machine unless cloud backup is enabled. The application does not track user activity or collect data. The free version includes all features except cloud backup and sharing. For users who need these capabilities, Pro and Solo plans are available. Pro offers 99 GB of cloud backup, access to boards on mobile and web, and collaborative editing. Solo provides sync and web app access for a one-time fee of 35 euros. The desktop app stores boards as files on the user's disk, allowing offline access and editing. Moodis was developed by Panu in Vantaa, Finland, inspired by the needs of his partner, an artist. The app is in beta, and users can try the canvas through a browser demo that does not upload or save any data. Feedback can be sent to support@moodis.app. The website uses Plausible for privacy-focused analytics.
