Managing Compute Infra for AI
Managing Compute Infra for AI
Oyren.AI is an AI agent workspace that combines a suite of collaborative tools with dedicated infrastructure for running agents. The tools include notes, mind maps, boards, PDFs, and chat, which are used by people through a browser and accessed by agents over the Model Context Protocol (MCP) as project memory. The infrastructure, called a Codespace, provides dedicated cloud computers or utilizes user provided devices to run agents continuously, isolating them from the host machine to prevent file system risks. The platform supports several distinct use cases. For internal application development, a brief can be written in a note, an agent builds the application in a Codespace, and the result is served at a public HTTPS URL. For research, papers, scanned PDFs, and LaTeX notes are stored in Docs, with a knowledge search MCP server enabling agents to answer queries from this material. Formal proofs can be developed in a Lean 4 and Mathlib Codespace, with LaTeX notes and source PDFs organized alongside. Agents such as Claude Code, Codex, and opencode operate within the environment with access to repositories, files, and a browser. Cloud Codespaces are priced at $0.17 per hour and bill only while running. Free credits are provided to start without requiring a credit card, and the Docs and Chat features are free to use. Planned developments include a desktop application for macOS and Windows, the ability to connect spare devices such as a Raspberry Pi or old Linux laptops via an npx command, and making the software open source. User provided devices incur no hourly charge. Oyren.AI is developed by Oyren Ltd., a company registered in the United Kingdom (company number 16784513).
