Domain expiry and spoofing checks
Warnwell is a domain management tool that checks multiple domains for expiration, website functionality, and email security vulnerabilities. Users paste the domains they own into the service, and Warnwell identifies which ones are nearing expiration, which websites are not working correctly, and which domains can be used by third parties to send spoofed email. Each identified issue includes a specific remediation step. The tool reads expiration dates directly from the domain registry, reporting days remaining, registration location, transfer lock status, domain age, and recent registrar changes. It also generates a calendar file reminder 30 days before each expiration date. For website checks, Warnwell opens sites as a visitor would, testing with and without the www prefix and over both HTTP and HTTPS protocols. It detects broken or expiring SSL certificates, incorrect DNSSEC signing, error pages, redirect chains, and registrar parking pages. For email security, the tool reads SPF, DMARC, MX, and DKIM records to determine whether spoofed messages would be delivered, sent to spam, or rejected, and whether legitimate outgoing mail is properly signed. It also checks domains against Cloudflare's malware filter and provides links to Spamhaus and SURBL for manual spam list review. Warnwell is free to use and requires no account creation. It can process up to 50 domains in a single check. The service also operates as a remote Model Context Protocol (MCP) server, allowing AI assistants to query domain information and return plain-language results with remediation steps. It reads public data only and makes no changes to any domain configuration.
