imgs-ai is an application for generating images and videos using artificial intelligence. It provides access through a web interface, a command-line interface (CLI), and Agent Skills for integration into automated workflows. The platform operates on a unified credit system, allowing users to manage a single account and credit balance across all access points. The tool supports a range of generation methods, including text-to-image, image-to-image, text-to-video, and image-to-video. It also offers specialized features such as an AI ad generator, portrait series creation, and video templates. Users can access generation history, compare different AI models, and consult practical guides and a creative journal. A typical workflow involves describing a scene or uploading a reference image. The system calculates the credit cost for the generation, which the user must approve before the task is executed. For Agent workflows, the process includes cost checking, approval, and result download. The platform accepts JPEG, PNG, and WebP files up to 5 megabytes. Generations can be produced at various resolutions, including 1K previews and 2K or 4K final images. The portrait series feature, for example, generates twelve 1K previews from which users can select up to six finals. Common use cases include creating illustrations from text descriptions, editing existing photographs by specifying what to change, and generating video content from text prompts or by animating reference images. The platform notes that while reference images guide the result, exact identity is not guaranteed. User prompts, settings, and reference images are retained in the browser tab for up to 24 hours.
